Angela has gone on to further her cosmetology education by studying with some of the best in the industry such as Jim Jones, Mr. David Pressley, and Carol Riley. Most recently Angela has received a certificate from Vidal Sassoon Academy in Miami for completing the Classic Cutting Course.
Angela, is the former President of the Michigan Cosmetology Schools Association, a past member of the Oster/Arius Eickert team, and has worked on numerous projects as a book reviewer for Milady Text Book Company.

Angela Sharp currently serves as President at Sharps Academy. She is responsible for developing the lesson plans for the academy. Angela is also, an educator at the academy and is generally the clinic floor instructor. Angela is also the campus security officer. She is a licensed cosmetologist and senior cosmetology instructor. She received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan. Angela is committed to sharing her passion for the cosmetology industry with her students.

Continuing education is very important to Patricia and she attends cosmetology school seminars and hair shows regularly. One of her favorite continuing education classes is the Milady Master Educator.

Patricia has been a dedicated leader in the cosmetology industry for over 35 years. She has been blessed with a history of outstanding students. Sharps graduates can be found working, and owning many fine salons.
Patricia Sharp is the president and founder of Sharp’s Academy of Hairstyling. She began her career as a cosmetologist in 1969. She began teaching cosmetology in 1981 and became a school owner in 1984. She holds a Bachelor of Science with a major in vocational education from the University of Michigan-Flint.

Patricia received her cosmetology diploma from David Pressley’s Professional School of Cosmetology. She had the pleasure of being taught by the late Mr. David Pressley who she owes her current success too.
Amanda McHan is a substitute cosmetology instructor at Sharp's Academy. She is a Sharp's Alumni and began her career as a Cosmetologist in 2015. She began teaching at Sharp's in 2017. Amanda also has also obtained a business certificate from the University of Phoenix.

Amanda has worked in the salon and as a teacher for several years. She has taken Wella, Pravana, and Schwarzkopf color classes. Has taken several hair cutting classes as well to further her education.
